Imagine a day without any electricity and without access to computers, television, Play Station, or even your cell-phone. After your qualifying examination you have the whole world as your playground because electricians are needed everywhere.
Program for Electricity and Electronics are divided into three separate sections:
- Electro automation: a wide specter of job opportunities awaits those who have these qualifications. You usually work in companies with automatic machinery and process plants. This job enlists maintenance, installation and adjustments of various measuring, and controlling- and regulation systems.
- Electricity: this subject is a study of installations, repair, service and maintenance of electric installations and plants.
- Computer and electronics: this subject is mainly a study of computers, telephones and consumer electronics such as any kind of warning installations, IT systems and installations.
During your first year, Vg 1, your education is in electricity and electronics in general. The second year, Vg 2, you can focus on a special field of your choice, and introduced to the various topics ahead and make choices according to your interests. The last and final year, Vg 3, you might keep on studying at Meldal Upper Secondary School, and/or training as an apprentice in a company. After finishing your basic training you are able to attend technical college or college of engineering.
